Baron Harris Healey is pleased to announce the newest addition to the firm: Catherine Ricca Lanzano.
With more than 20 years of experience, Catherine has built a distinguished career with an employment law focus. She has successfully represented businesses in commercial disputes, advised and defended insurance carriers in coverage matters, and litigated complex First Amendment questions.
“Catherine and I have been friends since we were summer associates at Sidley & Austin,” said Brendan Healey. “We are thrilled to welcome Catherine to BHH. She’s a terrific person, and we look forward to her skills further expanding the scope of our services.”
Employment law has been a focus of Catherine’s practice throughout her career. She represents both public and private employers in claims of discrimination based on gender, race, national origin, religion, and disability. Additionally, she regularly manages claims involving sexual harassment, reverse discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, and state-law tort claims.
In addition, Catherine is a seasoned workplace investigator, having completed dozens of impartial, in-depth investigations into allegations of unlawful workplace conduct and policy violations. She also advises and defends clients in wage and hour disputes under federal and state law.
Catherine obtained her J.D. at Stanford University, where she graduated with distinction, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, summa cum laude. In addition to her legal practice, Catherine has been a flutist with the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra since 2005.
