For more than 30 years, Steve has counseled media and entertainment companies, publishers and authors and a wide range of other businesses on their intellectual property matters, commercial disputes, and business transactions. He represents clients’ interests in federal and state courts, with administrative tribunals, and in arbitrations and mediations, as well as with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Copyright Office.
Natalie advises and defends clients who create, publish, and broadcast content. A veteran litigator, she works to deliver optimal results in defamation, right of publicity, invasion of privacy, and trademark and copyright infringement matters. She also has extensive experience counseling clients in sweepstakes, contests, and digital marketing.
A former in-house counsel at two major media companies, Brendan’s guidance is rooted in a deep understanding of the opportunities and stressors in the modern business environment. He regularly advises on pre-publication review, vendor agreements, licensing agreements, marketing programs, advertising clearance, and various regulatory regimes such as CAN-SPAM and FTC guidelines. He also has extensive litigation experience ranging from motion practice to trials to appeals.
